Typically yes, since DSCR loans carry more flexible qualification. The trade-off is speed and simplicity — no income documentation or DTI calculation required.
Some DSCR programs include a prepayment penalty structure, which is always disclosed upfront and can often be bought out for a rate adjustment. Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans do not carry prepayment penalties.
Typical closing costs include appraisal, title, underwriting and recording fees. You'll receive a full Loan Estimate before proceeding — nothing is a surprise at the closing table.
